What it is
Rubber Base 3-Free is Stellar's 2-in-1 rubber base coat, formulated without HEMA, TPO, or HPMA. Use it as a standard base coat to boost adhesion and protect the natural nail, or build it up as a lightweight structure gel to actively strengthen thin or brittle nails. Hypoallergenic with no heat spike, and made in the USA.

How to apply, as a base coat
- Prep the natural nail (cuticles, buff, shape, dehydrate/cleanse).
- Apply Stellar Bond Base first for best adhesion, and cure.
- Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base.
- Cure 90 seconds in the Stellar Shine Anywhere UV/LED Lamp.
- Apply your Stellar gel color or Structure Gel 2.0.
- Finish with Stellar Shine Top, cured per its instructions.
How to apply, as a structure gel
- Prep the natural nail (cuticles, buff, shape, dehydrate/cleanse).
- Apply Stellar Bond Base first for best adhesion, and cure.
- Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base, and cure 90 seconds.
- Float a bead to create the apex.
- Flash cure the apex 5 to 10 seconds in the Stellar Mini Flash Lamp.
- Cure 90 seconds in the Stellar Shine Anywhere UV/LED Lamp.
- Shape and refine.
- Finish with Stellar Shine Top, cured per its instructions.
Pair with
Stellar Bond Base, Structure Gel 2.0 (any shade), Stellar Shine Top, and cuticle oil.
