Hey there, I'm Sarah, a nail tech with a heart full of passion and a life that's a beautiful blend of family, love, and creativity. Married for nearly 20 years, my journey has been one of partnership, adventure, and unexpected turns. From going to school for dental assisting to working in the corporate world, and then finding my calling in the world of nails, it's been a ride. With four incredible children and four cuddly French Bulldogs by my side, I've navigated the twists and turns of life with a sparkle in my nail polish and a dream in my heart.

My venture into the nail industry, nudged by my supportive husband, has been nothing short of a revelation. For over 23 years, I've been immersed in the beauty of nails, taking a brief detour into photography, only to realize my true passion lies in creating stunning nails and helping others feel beautiful. This passion drove me to open my own salon, a chapter filled with growth, learning, and ultimately, the realization that my heart yearned for something more—something uniquely mine. That's when Stellar Gel came into my life.

Stellar Gel is not just my company; it's a canvas for my dreams, a place where every gel color represents a story of perseverance, innovation, and the relentless pursuit of beauty. I’ve had a passion for art my entire life, and for as long as I can remember, my nails have been my favorite canvas. In 2019, I finally decided to turn that passion into a career. You can see my latest work over at @nails_by_3llie

I love the constant education that comes with this job, and I’m always striving to deliver the highest quality and detail for my amazing clients. No two days at my shop are the same. Between the new designs and the relationships I build with the people who sit in my chair, being able to make people smile through my artwork is so heartening. Honestly, Stellar has given me more love for my job than I’ve ever had before.

Meeting Sarah, the creator of Stellar Gel, was a huge turning point for me. Before becoming a nail tech, my life looked a little different—I was a warehouse lead until a back injury forced me to switch careers. I knew I needed a change, but I didn't want to do something unless I truly loved it. My own nail tech of six years actually asked if I’d be interested in going to school for nails (mostly because she was tired of how particular I was with my own sets! 😂).

Once I thought about it, making 'tiny art' for a living just made sense. Even though the journey wasn’t always easy, it has been so worth it. I’ve never felt so fulfilled, and I get to work with some of the most amazing clients and fellow techs.

Having Sarah as an educator later in my journey was a total game-changer. The 'gems' she shared gave me the confidence I needed to truly master my craft. I feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing brand and this supportive community Sarah is building. I’m so excited to grow with Stellar Gel and see what the future holds!

Growing up, I was always the creative one, obsessed with art, sewing, and anything beauty-related. My sister and friends used to joke that I’d eventually open my own place called 'T’s Beauty Salon.' That dream started feeling a lot more real after I began doing my own nails for my wedding day. Ten years later, I finally set a goal to get qualified. Even though lockdown happened the day before my final exam, I pushed through and qualified in late 2020. By 2022, I finally left my job as a teaching assistant to go full-time with my passion!

I’m a perfectionist at heart and always striving to be the best at my craft, which is why I’ve been an enthusiastic supporter of Stellar Gel since before it even launched. From the moment Sarah shared her vision, I knew she had created something extraordinary.

THi! I’m Bari (@studiobarinails), pronounced like “Harry” but with a B. After graduating high school, I knew college wasn’t for me. Growing up I was always interested in the fashion and beauty industry, so I decided to go back to school to get my cosmetology license thinking I wanted to become a hairstylist. A few months in I realized that I hated doing hair, but I found a serious passion for doing nails. For so many years I went to nail salons and always left so disappointed and usually in pain, so when I decided to focus my career in nails, I knew that I had to be different. I wanted to focus strictly on natural nail health and offering people a gentle manicure that they would be proud to show off.

I connected with Sarah a few years ago through Instagram and a mutual passion for nails. When I found out she was creating her own brand I was beyond excited. Throughout my 10 year career, I’ve never come across a product line as incredible as Stellar Gel. Sarah is on her way to creating such an amazing community with this brand. It’s obvious that as a nail tech herself, she truly listens and understands what nail techs need. I am so grateful and honored to be a part of it.

Hi everyone! I’m Jhuliana (@pop.of.polish), pronounced like a mix of Julie and Ana. My mom added an H to make my name extra unique and my life more fun! I am so excited to join the Stellar Gel family as a Brand Ambassador.

Creativity has always been a big part of who I am. When I was a kid, I was constantly drawing or creating things I loved. A few years ago, I moved abroad with my family and ended up leaving law school. It was a tough decision, but I realized it just wasn’t the right path for me. I started exploring other options and at the end of 2021, I really dove into my passion for nails. By early 2022, I had turned that passion into a small but thriving business, all from my living room. I love connecting with people, and this work never feels like work to me, it is just what I enjoy doing.

The brand was created by Sarah, a nail tech with many years of experience, and you can really feel the love and care that has gone into every product. I’ve always had a soul for creating, but my path wasn't always direct. I actually started out in the medical field to make my parents happy, but everything changed in 2019 when I became a mom. I knew I wanted to be a fully present parent, so I took the leap, went to beauty school in Portland, and became a nail technician.

Independence has given me the freedom to put my daughter first, but it also introduced me to an incredible community of people who truly want to see each other thrive.
